This was the only medical practice in China for thousands of years making it the world’s oldest and most complete form of medicine, which means that there is a treatment for almost everything. It works well as a stand-alone treatment, as well as in accompaniment with western medication and therapy. Often, at Balance Point Acupuncture, nutritional therapy (link to nutrition) and detoxification (link to detox) are incorporated into your wellness plan in order to bring the most benefits to your whole health and leave you feeling at your best.

I have been trained to address all diseases through the framework of the yin-yang, the five elements, heat-cold, and interior-exterior. Through these 8 diagnostic methods, all diseases can be classified and treated effectively. That said, I really enjoy helping people with emotional disorders such as depression, anxiety and stress. I also have good success in treating women’s disorders such as symptoms associated with PMS, irregular cycles and infertility. Pain and allergies are also something that I enjoy helping people through.
