Purification Comments
"I'm so happy that I did this. I didn't think that I could, but it really wasn't that hard, and
WOW was it empowering! I feel really good having done this for myself. The support forum that you set up was very helpful,
the recipes - delicious." -S.R
"We are sleeping better, eating habits are changing, and energy is better.
We are literally getting cleaned from the inside out. The acupuncture treatments along with the cleanse are definitely working.
Thanks again for ALL YOU DO." -The Connell's
"...Best yet, I'm learning a new way to eat and actually
enjoying it. I'm feeling satisfied, no cravings, and that is fantastic! I think the gymnema is really helping.
I love the idea of having a support group like you are doing.Thank you for your positive influences in my life!!!...I got
the BEST ever compliment today. One of my yoga instructors told me that my "skin was glowing and looked great."

It's
still winter! Hopefully you're enjoying the cold and wet, as it probably won't be this way for quite a while after this weekend.
The group cleanse went wonderfully well, read about the results below. Because of the enthusiasm of the January
detox group, I will be hosting another group in early April. For those of you who were interested in joining the group in
January but didn't, here is your chance. The spring purification group will begin in early
April, so call now to sign up!
Our CD is here! We've worked hard to get this meditation CD put together
and it's now available. Read about it below.
Also, read about how to cut your personal cancer risk? Your genes
DO NOT have the most "say so" about your chances. It is your environment: mental, emotional and physical that bare
the heaviest influence. Bruce Lipton has done a lot of work in bringing this information to you and now the World Cancer Research Fund and the American Institute
for Cancer Research agree.
And finally, for those in and around the Cedar Park office, we are now offering yoga
on Friday's at 12:30. Look to the side column for more information.
| Congratulations
To Our Detox Graduates
Last month
I hosted a group detox with eight participants. Everyone did a great job of staying on the diet and completing the 21 day
program without too much complaining. Actually, much to my releif, most of the complaining was only on the first and second
day. After the second day, the general mood was a feeling of being empowered by self control, and this ability seemed
to strengthen and become a consensus by the fourth day.
Out of the eight participants, six were interested in loosing some weight. The total amount of weight lost was 57 pounds,
which averages 9.5 pounds each! These are great results! Again I'm very proud of you
all. Congratulations!
Among some of the unexpected results were more control over cravings, improved sleep and
sustained energy. And all these results by the power of a food based detoxification program (and a little bit of will power),
giving the body the ingredients it needs to enable the excretion of trapped poison's from the body's organs. See testimonials here.
I am planning on hosting another group detox sometime in April. So if anyone is interested, please let me know
as soon as possible. This is actually one of the best times if not the best time of the year to do a cleanse. The weather
is just right as is the spring energy of activity, movment and reawakening from the sleepy and dark contemplative and reflective
days of winter. The cleanse can be done at any time and does not have to be done in the group. The advantage of the group
is the support system. You will be given access to the support group, which includes daily support, tons of recipes, and frequently
asked questions.

Guided
Meditation CD for Beginners and the Experienced Through extensive searching for a great
guided meditation cd for the beginner, the opportunity to team up with Rusty Tullius arose. Rusty is a gifted musician, music
therapist, and music teacher. We have composed our own versatile cd that promotes the inner exploration of quiet contemplation
through calm and uplifting music enhanced by a gentle guided meditative experience. For those that do have experience meditating,
track two and four have no words and can also be used as a grounding tool when emotions start to get the best of you.

The cd is versatile because it allows you to "choose your own experience". The first track is a 10 minute
guided meditation and the second track is a repeat of the first track without the guidance. The third track is a 20 minute
guided meditation and the fourth track is 20 minutes without the guidance. This makes for a versatile experience in which
you can choose to meditate for 10, 20, 30, or 40 minutes.
This format offers you the ability to be guided through
some of your meditation while allowing you the opportunity to deepen your experience on your own (without words) during the
next track. This music is also great while practicing yoga.
Here is what one happy customer said about it:
"I have never listened to any other meditation cd, but I like this one.
Not that I am wanting a migraine, but I do plan on listening to it whenever I get one.
I think it will help me to relax more and help the migraine go away faster." -R.M.
Listen to a sample of the cd here (hyperlink to mp3) and "Buy it Now" in the left column.

| More than 1 in 3 Common Cancers Could Be Preventable
More than a third of common adult cancers may be preventable in the
U.S., not even counting cancers that could be prevented by not smoking. The World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF)
and its sister organization, the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) estimate that in the U.S., eating a nutritious
diet, being physically active, and keeping body fat under control may prevent: 38 percent of breast cancers
45 percent of colorectal cancers 36 percent of lung cancers 39 percent of pancreatic cancers
47 percent of stomach cancers 69 percent of esophageal cancers 63 percent of cancers of the mouth,
pharynx, or larynx 70 percent of endometrial cancers 24 percent of kidney cancers 21 percent
of gallbladder cancers 15 percent of liver cancers 11 percent of prostate cancers Diet,
physical activity, and limited body fat could prevent 34 percent of those 12 cancers overall in the U.S.
Most of us do not eat for fuel. Most of us have forgotten how to eat or have grown up with unhealthy
eating habits that have persisted. So many of today's health issues can be resolved by the changing of one's diet. If you
need to reaquaint yourself with a healing diet that gives you the fuel you need to be productive or you know someone who does,
please schedule a nutritional consultation. Are you an emotional eater? See last month's newsletter for tips to move yourself beyond the traps, or contact me for a referral to the right practitioner for you. I have great colleagues that work with eating disorders in a variety of
different ways.
